Since the rumor mill is currently about to boil over, it can be difficult to keep track of leaks and actual facts. But even if Nintendo themselves haven't revealed too much about the new hybrid console, they have at least revealed a few details.
Nintendo hasn't used the term "Switch 2" yet, but at least it has.
When will the Switch 2 be revealed?
What's more, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed in May 2024 that there would be an announcement about the successor "this year". Of course, this does not mean the calendar year, but the fiscal year, i.e. Nintendo's financial year.
This runs until March 31, 2025, so we should actually be able to expect an official reveal by that date.
