WithDeveloper Hazelight delivered one of the best co-op games ever in 2021. It's no wonder that the new game from Josef Fares' studio is eagerly awaited. There isn't much information about it yet, but the game's presumed release date has now been leaked.

It Takes Two won at the Game Awards in 2021. It is quite possible that the release date for the new project will be revealed almost three years later.
The next Hazelight game is reportedly called Split Fiction
A Game Awards appearance would be the first "real" look at the game, about which Josef Fares and his team have so far kept a cloak of silence. The only thing that is certain so far is that it will be a completely new IP - so the title is not a real It Takes Two successor - and that the game is called S*** ******N.
Apparently the entire title “Split Fiction” is hidden behind the asterisks., which has not yet been confirmed.

So far, Hazelight games has specialized in co-op games. Before It Takes Two, the team developed the action-adventure A Way Out, in which you have to escape from prison together, and the heartfelt Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
