The new digital version of the classic Pokémon trading card game on iOS and Android, Pokémon TCG Pocket, continues to ride the wave of success. As The Pokémon Company was able to officially confirm in a press release, the app has now surpassed the 60 million download mark since its release on October 30, 2024.
In this case, this is celebrated in a special way, because the game's numerous gamers will soon receive the first expansion. The new booster series “Mysterious Island” will also be introduced next week. This will start on December 17, 2024.
Anyone who purchases the corresponding booster packs will then be able to discover new card illustrations for various Pokémon, but at the same time several new Pokémon will also find their way into the title - including, for example, the popular Mysterious Pokémon Mew. There's also a new album cover, gallery background and more. The cards allow you to put together new combinations when building decks.
