Riot Games is also starting the new year in Valorant and is bringing Tejo, a new Colombian agent, to the online shooter.
The 2025 season in Valorant begins with Act I - and that brings with it another playable agent, Tejo. Tejo comes from Colombia and can use a ballistic guidance system to force his opponents to give up their position or defend it with their lives.
With the "Special Delivery" ability, Tejo throws a sticky grenade that sticks to the first surface hit and, when exploded, stuns all targets in the surrounding area. With the “Stealth Drone” ability, Tejo sends out a drone that can trigger an impulse that suppresses and reveals opponents. Continuing with the “Guided Volley” ability, Tejo equips an AR targeting system that can select up to two targets on the map. Missiles fired automatically fly to the target area and explode upon arrival.
Tejo's ultimate ability is called "Doomsday" and equips a targeting card for tactical fire. The attack causes a wave of explosions between two previously selected points.
With “Flex”, Valorant will also receive Tejo at the start of the 2025 season, the first new content type since the game was released. These are hand-held objects designed to give you more opportunities to express yourself in the game. They can be equipped via collections and can be selected via the graffiti wheel. As an introduction you will receive a free Flex, a second Flex will be available via the first Battle Pass.
Last but not least, you can also expect the new EX.O skin series, which is inspired by futuristic sci-fi themes. The new season starts on January 8th, and the new skin series will be available from January 9th, 2025.
