There's nothing better than waking up in the morning and seeing that a new The Last of Us Season 2 trailer has been released, which also reveals the release window for the HBO series. It was previously revealed that Ellie and Joel's adventure will continue this spring. The specific month has now been revealed at CES 2025.

With the sound of the siren in the trailer, those familiar with the game The Last of Us Part 2 in particular should immediately know what it's about (don't worry, we're not giving anything away at this point). In the trailer we also get another look at the new character Abby (played by Kaitlyn Dever). We see Ellie and Dina doing the famous dance scene together, and we're reminded once again that The Last of Us tells a truly dark and action-packed story.

The now 19-year-old Ellie embarks on a bloody campaign of revenge and gets caught between two opposing factions in post-apocalyptic Seattle: the militant Washington Liberation Front (WLF) and the Seraphite sect, both of which are fighting for dominance in Seattle.
