The One Piece manga is currently in the middle of the Elban arc, but so far everything seems to be going peacefully and the Straw Hats are exploring the large home island of the giant warriors. Luffy encounters possibly one of the most dangerous and strongest fighters on the island:Loki, the cursed prince and self-proclaimed “Sun God”.

Spoilerwarnung! The following sections reveal important information about Loki and his past. If you haven't read up to and including chapter 1135 of the One Piece manga, you will be given important preliminary information about the giant warrior and Elban.

The cursed prince seems to be so strong that even the divine knights of the world government want to accept him into their ranks and have come to Elban for this reason.

The divine knights want to accept Loki into the knightly order

One Piece fan, leaker and X user@pewpiecepublished on January 14, 2025 a rough summary of the events of Chapter 1136, which is scheduled to be officially released next Sunday. In it, the fan talks about the official reveal of a member of the Divine Knights - Gunko and her bandage powers.

He also reveals what the two knights are actually planning on Elban and why they are looking for the chained giant warrior Loki.

If you want to know more information about Gunko and her companion in Chapter 1136, you can read it here:

In the leaks, Pewpiece describes how the two divine knights find their way to the bound Loki and talk to him. Gunko is said to have revealed to the cursed prince that they are on Elban because of him and want to accept him into the divine order of knights.

However, the giant warrior rejects the offer, whereupon Gunko threatens him with her bandage powers and death. Shortly before the knight can successfully carry out the attack, Loki is saved by one of his wolves, but Gunko holds him down. When asked again that he should join the order, he refuses again and the wolf is killed by Gunko.

The leaks for chapter 1136 make it clear that the cursed Prince Loki must be a powerful and strong warrior. After all, not only do the divine knights want him on their side, but at the same time Eiichiro Oda reveals in the same chapter that Shanks was responsible for Loki's arrest six years ago.

The giants on the island spoke of how it had taken all of Elban to defeat and lock Loki away. Red-haired pirate Shanks is also one of the four emperors and therefore possibly one of the strongest characters in the history of One Piece.

If it took someone of Shanks' strength and the entire island of Elban to defeat and capture Loki, it shows just how powerful the cursed prince really is.

What are your theories about the divine knight orders and what role do you think Loki will play in the Elban arc?
