You can see what our first impressions of the game are and how much fun we had with it in our talk about the game:
How big will the Monster Hunter Wilds map be?
As Capcom has already confirmed, the maps in Monster Hunter Wildslike in the predecessors. This probably refers to the game's different hunting areas/biomes. However, it is not yet known how many of them there will be.
Will Monster Hunter Wilds be open world?
This has not yet been officially confirmed or denied. However, since Capcom speaks of "maps", it sounds more like several closed areas await us again. It is at least conceivable that traveling between biomes will be seamless this time - but that has not been confirmed either.
What new monsters are there in Monster Hunter Wilds?
The first trailers have already revealed some new monsters such as the Balahara, Chatacabra and Doshaguma. Of course, old friends like the Rathalos also return.
You can find an overview of all known monsters here:
What will be Wilds’ flagship monster?
As with every Monster Hunter, Wilds has that one big new beast that you have to take down in your journey through the game. For wilds this is Arkveld:
This is Arkveld:Not much is known yet, but Arkveld is also known as the "White Ghost" and was thought to be long extinct. His body shape is reminiscent of a wyvern or elder dragon, but it sounds like he belongs to a completely new category. The official website doesn't reveal much here either, but it does point out its chain-like wing extensions, which Arkveld apparently uses to attack.

What other gameplay innovations are there in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Little seems to have changed in the basic gameplay of the series, but there are still a few innovations. Hunters can now take a second weapon with them when hunting, using our mount called “Seikret”.
You can watch the latest gameplay trailer here:
In addition, temporary camps can now be set up along the way, which can be destroyed by monsters, and the biomes have a dynamic weather system.
There is also a new “focus mode” that is intended to make it easier to aim attacks and we can get support from AI hunters when no friends are online.
