The anime DanDaDan has been causing a lot of excitement since its release in October. Not only does the series have two different German versions in this country, the fights against aliens and ghosts are also followed diligently by fans.

In the seventh episode of DanDaDan there is a fight with a ghost that has serious consequences - namely the death of a newly introduced character:Aira Shiratori!
Aira dies in the fight of Okarun, Momo and Acro-Silky
Since the last episode, Okarun and Momo have been dealing with a dangerous and strong spirit: the dancing Acro-Silky. However, the spirit is not targeting the two supernatural students, but rather their classmate Aira Shiratori.
Silky seems to think the girl is her daughter and promptly eats her up in order to remain united with her forever. In the fight, however, Momo and Okarun manage to free Aira from inside Silky with the help of Turbo Grandma.
But then the shock: Aira is dead.Silky appears to have absorbed Aira's life energy from her as she devoured her.
Life and Death Episode 7 is an emotional rollercoaster for fans
After this shocking twist, DanDaDans episode 7 goes one better and lets viewers take a look into the past of the dangerous spirit. It is revealed that Silky was actually the mother of a young daughter before her transformation. Silky led a peaceful life with her daughter, but seemed to have money problems and high debts. The series doesn't explain exactly what happened in detail.
This in turn led to shady men breaking into her home, critically injuring her and kidnapping Silky's daughter. It's heavily implied that Silky then took her own life and then became this dangerous spirit.
Her connection to Aira Shiratori is also made clear in the flashback. After her death, Silky met Aira, whom she thought was her late mother. Silky also saw Aira as her deceased daughter. From then on, she became obsessed with the high school student.
Aira doesn't stay dead for long because Silky sacrifices her life and existence
DanDaDan actually has another highlight to offer: Aira's revival and a touching moment between her and Silky.
When Silky realizes that she is hurting Aira, she decides to sacrifice her life for the student. After all, she loved Aira like her own daughter. Without hesitation, she transfers her aura to Aira using Momo's supernatural powers to save her. Due to the loss of her aura, Silky can no longer exist as a ghost and slowly dissolves. Since her soul is still bound to this world, she will not find peace.
Aira comes to at the same time and witnesses Silky slowly disintegrating. She runs into the ghost's arms and thanks him in an emotional moment before Silky disappears forever.
DanDaDan Episode 7 shocked fans with not just one, but two deaths and hit hard on the tear duct.
