How likely is a second season?Due to anime trends of pushing popular manga with a multi-season anime adaptation such as Freeze, Delicious in Dungeon, and Solo Leveling among others, it is expected that Chainsaw Man will also get a sequel. After all, the manga is number 1 among the most popular Shonen Jump manga, far above One Piece, Boruto and DanDaDan.

So Shueisha could join the trend of popular action anime series with additional seasons with a second season of Chainsaw Man.

Streaming Service: Where Would Chainsaw Man Season 2 Release?

  • Streaming provider:Crunchyoll

The first season of the popular action anime is available on Crunchyroll along with its twelve episodes and covers part of the Chainsaw Man public safety saga. With a second season, Mappa could cover the remaining part of the saga, which may be a little longer than the first season.

Dubbing – Would Season 2 also have German dubbing?

  • Setting:German dubbing or original Japanese voice edition with German subtitles

If there is a second season of the anime, it will probably get a German dub sooner or later, just like the first season. Otherwise, like every anime adaptation, it will have the original Japanese language, with English and German subtitles.

Story – Which arcs have been adapted so far and what you can expect from the second season of Chainsaw Man

  • Episode number and duration:Between 12 and 24 episodes that are 23 minutes long
  • Arcs that could appear in a second season:
    • Bomb Girl Arc
    • International Assassins Arc
    • Gun Devil Arc
    • Control Devil Arc

The first season of Chainsaw Man covered the events of all chapters up to and including Chapter 38 of the manga. So the Introduction, Bat Devil, Eternity Devil and ultimately with episode 12 the Katana Man arc were covered.

All arcs are part of the Public Safety Saga, which includes a total of 61 chapters and four additional arcs that Studio Mappa can adapt in a second or even third season. So Shueisha and Mappa have a lot of material for the sequel to the popular action anime.
