The 16-bit edition of the agricultural simulator is published as a cartridge for the Sega Mega Drive.
Giants Software and Strictly Limited have announced a corresponding implementation of the bonus game that buyers of theMaybe already know.
So far a bonus, soon also available separately
The said bonus game was also part of the Collector's Edition of the game for the PC.
"The Collector's Edition contained a retro version in Cartridge-style, which was received equally enthusiastically by fans and collectors," it says. "The response was so great that Giants software developed an independent retro version-which led to this dedicated 16-bit version in cooperation with Strictly Limited."
Retro version can now be pre-ordered
On the website ofStrictly Limited GamesYou can now pre-order the retro version in two variants. Once there is a limited edition and once a deluxe edition.
The Limited Edition will be released on May 14, 2025 and costs 49.99 euros, the Deluxe Edition follows in July 2025 and costs 69.99 euros. The latter contains a few more extras, including the original soundtrack from Chris Hülsbeck and printed instructions.
The two versions come with a green cartridge, are limited to 500 pieces each and only have with Strictly Limited Games. In addition, there will also be a version with black cartridge, as you will offer, for example, at Amazon worldwide.
"While the content of the game remains the same, the retail version will differ significantly from the strictly limited exclusive editions due to the color of the cartridge and the packaging."
