News - Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege X : Closed Beta startet, neuer 6v6-Modus an Bord

The big update to Rainbow Six: Siege can now be tested as part of a beta - new game mode included.

As part of a showcase, Ubisoft announced new details on the big update Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege X and immediately gave the starting signal for a closed test phase. This closed beta started yesterday's March 13th and runs until March 19, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. The platforms PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 are supported.

To get access to the beta, you have to link your accounts at Ubisoft Connect and Twitch and then watch 30 minutes of the official show case or a partner stream. If you have done that, you will be sent a beta-key as a Twitch drop.

This beta also focuses on a completely new game mode in the long-term successful tactic shooter. This was newly introduced in the showcase! It is a 6V6 mode that is played on an exclusive new card. The attackers and defenders compete against each other on this map and each have to achieve dynamically changing goals. There are also respawns in this game mode.

Dual Front is to become a permanent game mode in Rainbow Six: Siege X, whereby the District MAP is constantly evolving. The card relies on two symmetrical fronts with three sectors each.

The presented new trailer in the presentation also showed other fresh features, including new destruction options for the area, visual improvements, audio revision and new animations.
