In the run -up to the publication for Switch 2, Ubisoft now also makes a playable demo from Star Wars Outlaws available.
With great hopes and expectations, Ubisoft launched Star Wars Outlaws in August last year, but the SCI-FI title from Massive Entertainment was finally significantly behind the expectations. Now there is also an implementation for Switch 2 on the plan - and to get in the mood, Ubisoft now delivers a playable demo on the other platforms (plenty of late).
After the sales figures have been more disappointed to date, this trial version on the existing platforms seems to want to inspire additional players for the title. Finally, as part of the Star Wars Celebration Japan, a trailer for the new story expansion "A Pirate's Fortune", which was scheduled for May 15, 2025, was also shown on Friday. In this add-on, Kay Vess works with the space pirate Hondo Ohnaka.
The demo is heavy around 30 GB. In it, it is about three hours of play on the iconic planet Tatoine. The download is possible on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S alike.
Meanwhile, the planned implementation for the new Switch 2 console now has a concrete release date. Accordingly, Star Wars Outlaws will not be available directly for the launch, but still halfway in the launch time window. From September 4, 2025, Star Wars Outlaws should be played on the Switch 2.
