Accordingly, the upcoming Season 5 will also be the last season of the Brawler. This starts in the new week from February 4, 2025 and will then last until May 30, 2025, then not only with Season 5, but also with the game as a whole. At least on this day, all online servers go offline, which you can no longer play the Brawler online.
However, the game function of the game, which is preserved, is not affected. So you will be able to beat other players or against AI opponents on your console.
Due to the server development, the download option of multiversus is also completely set; This will go offline on May 30, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Transactions with real money have therefore already been discontinued, so you can no longer buy a premium currency Gleamium in the game.
Finally, Season 5 brings two new playable characters: Aquaman from the DC universe and Lola Bunny from Looney Tunes. All new content of the fresh season will be earned via gameplay.

The title was originally launched as an open beta in July 2022, a year later Multiversus was initially taken offline to revise netcode, matchmaking and progress system. The relaunch took place in May 2024, but Multiversus could no longer put on enough players after this restart, which ultimately led to the now communicated attitude.
