The Star Trek: Voyager spaceship continues, but not on the television screens.
Rather, IDW has announced a new, five-part comic series called Star Trek: Voyager-Homecoming.
To celebrate the anniversary
With this new comic series, which is based directly on the series finale, you want to celebrate the 30th anniversary.
Star Trek: Voyager - Homecoming by Tilly and Susan Bridges is written, the drawings come from Angel Hernandez.
The publication of the five editions can be expected from September 2025. Among other things, you will be available online or via the IDW app, otherwise you will ask your trust in the comic retailer.
The conclusion that fans were waiting for
"Captain Janeway and the Crew of the USS Voyager are back for a last mission before flying home," it says. "The limited comic series offers the final conclusion that fans have waited for decades."
"This story only uses a few moments after the last scene of the series! In this scene of the Emmy-winning series, the earth's spaceship is approaching before the screen becomes black ... But what if it only came to a last emergency a few moments later?"
"As a long-term trekkies, we are happy to be part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Voyager. We can't wait to offer Janeway and your crew a last adventure ... Will everything run smoothly?" Say the two co-authors Tilly and Susan Bridges.
Star Trek: Voyager spaceship ran from 1995 to 2001 and comprised a total of seven seasons.
