The shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm is getting fresh content again and will rely on global cross-play in the future.
New World Interactive has released the next fresh content for the shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm with “Operation Resurgence” and has also given the title an important new feature: global cross-play. The much-requested feature is now available with the release of the new DLC pack and allows PC, PlayStation and Xbox players to compete together in versus and co-op modes - regardless of the respective platform.
To celebrate, Skirmish Mode has been added to the pool of limited-time game modes. Here you can conquer enemy targets, destroy weapons depots and compete in tactical matches with players from all platforms.
Three new assault rifles also make their way into the title: the WCX tactical rifle for the security forces, the Italian AR-7090 for the insurgents and the F2000 bullpup rifle for both teams. In addition to these weapons, you can also enjoy free cosmetic DLC for each faction: the Pockets weapon skin set and Survivor gear set for the Security Forces, and the National Pride skin set and Revolt gear set for the Insurgents .
