Keen Games celebrates another milestone with Enshrouded and also expands the title with a new update.
Enshrouded remains a success story from Germany. The developer studio Keen Games based in Frankfurt has now been able to announce the next milestone achieved in early access: the title now has more than four million players!
This is also celebrated elsewhere, because the team has also announced information on the sixth content update in the early access in this context and on the occasion of the event The Triple-I Initiative. This is called "Diener of Dawn" and brings both new enemies and fresh features. The update is to be published in May.
According to official information, the most important innovations are then:
- New enemies: With the new update, more enemy groups come to the Gluttal.
- Miasma update: The miasma is more dangerous than ever, with new materials and the activable weapon adaptation mechanics.
- Improvements on the night cycle: opponent groups are now roaming the world at night and have new rewards with them that can be discovered.
- Weapons adjustments: A new weapon adaptation mechanism is introduced with which many weapons can be adapted, manufactured or broken down.
The publication of the full version of Enshrouded, which has been on Steam in early access for over a year, is planned for spring 2026.
