Funcom has made nails with heads today, which affects the release date of the promising and ambitious survival-mmo dune: Awakening. The multiplayer title with the huge open game world on the desert planet Arrakis should initially be released for PC and will be available on Steam from May 20, 2025.
The pre -sale of the title, which walks across the counter for 49.99 euros, will shortly start shortly. As a bonus, the Muad'Dib terrarium, a decorative object for the base in which the desert mouse lives, is given early pre-orderers.
However, you can prepare yourself from today, because the makers made the Character Creator and the benchmark mode available for download directly with today's announcement. If you download the tools, you will receive a code for the exclusive Frameblade Knife Skin Set, which you can then secure you to launch the full version.
With the Character Creator you can already create and design your game character; This can be saved and imported into the main game for a launch. You deny the notorious Gom-Jabbar test and can then adapt every aspect of the appearance of your character, select a home planet as well as the caste and the mentor of Swordmaster, Bene Gesserit, Mentat or Trooper.
