News - Diablo IV: Blizzard finds it too easy - and now wants to counteract

Blizzard Entertainment admits that Diablo IV is currently too easy - and wants to counteract in the new Season 8.

In Diablo IV it is currently too easy to put the hundreds of demons out of it and climb in the levels. This not only finds large parts of the community, but now also Blizzard Entertainment itself. In a new edition of the Campfire stream, the topic has been taken up and confirmed that the development team has also come to the conclusion that Diablo IV is currently too easy.

The new Season 8 is therefore built up to make the game more difficult without wanting to slow the fun for the players too much. Overall, however, the journey from level 1 to level 60 should go more slowly and feel level ascents more significantly than before. The end game should also be significantly more challenging in the future.

According to Design Director Colin Finer, the changes implemented in Vessel of Hatred would have made players get through the content far too quickly. Gamer had reached the maximum level in only half of the time last season when it was common in the previous season. Blizzard will therefore now increase the time it takes to get through the first 25 levels.

At the same time, the drop rate for legendary objects is to be reduced on your way to level 60. Items lower value should become a little stronger in the future to fill the gap. As a result, according to Finer, one hopes that the game "is more rewarded and satisfactory" while you master this level.

In the endgame, the levels of torment swiveliness for better rewards are to be increased. Here, too, it was found that 50 percent of the players have reached the highest Torment levels in half of the time in half of the time. In the new season, the leap of the level of difficulty between the individual torment levels should attract noticeably and are greater.
