News - Delta Force: Console launch is shifting

While PC players can already play cheerfully and enjoy the recently launched campaign, there is bad news for the console players.

The revival of Delta Force on the PC has been running for a while and the Black Hawk Down campaign has also been available for a short time. So runs for the owners of Windows machines. However, it does not look so good for the console players who are still sitting on the waiting banks.

As Team Jade now confirmed as part of a Q&A, the release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, which was actually intended for this quarter, is shifting. The reasoning simply says that a little more time is needed, or in detail:

"The console version develops well, but we believe that the general user experience, in particular the player input, including the controller balance and interaction compatibility, does not yet correspond to our standards."

In other words, the developers still have a lot to polish before the shooter is released on humanity. A new release period has not yet been named. In the foreseeable future, however, one wants to report with a correspondingly updated console roadmap. So wait and sip some cold or hot drink.

It still looks good for PC players. In the upcoming season, the game is to be supplemented by a kill cam, and some maps will soon also receive night versions with correspondingly tailored content. Optimizations and improvements should also continue to be done.

Apparently there is still a lot to do, because the user ratings of the game have so far been quite mixed. At the moment, an increased emergence of cheats is being criticized, which spoils the fun for normal players.
