Bungie has finally introduced his latest prank marathon in detail. The new extraction shooter has also received a specific release date: From September 23, 2025, players can get started on the PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Both cross-play and cross-save should be fully supported directly at the start.
As part of the showcase, there was also the first gameplay of the team-based online shooter. Game scenes from the alpha were presented, which also show the mysterious and competitive world Tau Ceti IV.
Tau Ceti IV is a lost colony, the residents of which have disappeared without a trace. Rivalry groups fight for the left -wing resources and engage Runner who have given up their human bodies for biosynthetic covers. In this competition, which is about power, wealth and solving the secrets of Tau Ceti IV, death is only a temporary obstacle.
You slip into the role of such a runner, i.e. a cybernetic mercenary, the Tau Ceti IV. You form teams from three people and fight against opposing runner teams and enemy security forces for weapons and upgrades.

The Bungie team will actively participate in Discord, organize question and answer session and further develop the game based on the player feedback to the start and beyond. The Closed Alpha Test from Marathon begins this month.
At the end there was also an original short film in the marathon universe beyond the gameplay and the game information. The script and director come from the award -winning director Alberto Mielgo and his animation studio Pinkman.tv.
