There is a first trailer for Season 02 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as well as first details about the expected multiplayer maps.
Developer Treyarch has announced the first details about the upcoming Season 02 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and also released a first trailer that gives further impressions of what awaits you. The focus of the known details is initially on the new maps for the regular multiplayer part of the game.
After there were, among other things, seven new weapons and six new multiplayer maps in Season 01 of the shooter, Treyarch is now adding five more multiplayer maps in Season 02. These cards are Bounty, Lifeline, Dealership, Grind and Bullet.
Three of the maps, namely Bounty, Lifeline and Dealership, will be available directly at the start of Season 02 on January 28, 2025, the other two maps Grind and Bullet will then follow as part of the mid-season update.
Bounty will be a medium-sized 6v6 map and is set in a penthouse on an Avalon skyscraper. Lifeline is based on the Hijacked map from Black Ops 2 and is significantly smaller and more chaotic; The map on a high-end yacht can be played in 2v2 and 6v6. Set around the Pallasar car dealership, Dealership is a medium-sized 6v6 map.
In the mid-season update, Grind will be a medium-sized 6v6 map around a skate park, while Bullet is smaller and can be played in both 2v2 and 6v6.
In addition to the multiplayer maps, Season 02 will also bring the next Zombies chapter on a new map called The Tomb. According to a published image, the new weapons will probably include the FN FAL Assault Rifle and the PPSH-41 SMG.
