The Fantasy Strategy Game Age of Wonders 4 will be given its next expansion with "Giant Kings" in a few weeks.
Paradox Interactive has announced the next add-on for the Age of Wonders 4 strategy game with "Giants Kings" and provided it with a release date. Accordingly, the latest DLC will be available for the fantasy strategy game from April 1, 2025 on the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The price for the add-on is 24.99 euros, with previous buyers of expansion pass 2 receiving the expansion as part of your purchase without additional costs.
What can you expect from "Giant King"? There is a new type of ruler, new magic books, new empires to conquer, new miracles to explore and more. You can return the huge elder to her rightful place as the ruler of the Astral Sea, explore the ruins of the fallen empire of the giants, track down forgotten crystal magic and more.
The new type of ruler is just the giant kings who have a unique terraforming capacity and can use the item smithy right at the beginning of the game. Her skills include the activation of runes, the forging of unique equipment and the summoning of ancient weapons.
The crystal dwelling is introduced as a high-towering building as a home, there are new landmarks regions, shop buildings and two new books: the book of dungeon depths for building an underground empire and the book of geomancy around the energies of the Ley lines.
The add-on is rounded off by three new realm features, endgame events, two new antique miracles, four new pieces of music, a new interface skins and numerous smaller updates.
