New on Steam: This week a cut decides between life and death

With New Arc Line this week we want to captivate you with a magical steampunk world.

Things are comparatively relaxed on Steam this week - the big December blockbusters like that, andwait a few more days. But that doesn't mean there aren't any exciting new releases to discover!

While the big names are already clearing the stage for next week, there are some exciting insider tips hidden between the week's Steam releases this week

Highlight of the week: Gladio Mori

Genre: Action |developer: Plebeian Studio |Release: 26. November (Steam)

In Gladio Mori you take on the role of a gladiator who has to prove himself in brutal fights to the death. The game stands out above all because of itsinnovative, physics-based combat systemfrom the competition. Instead of standard animations or ready-made punch combos, the control is completely in your hands.

With a move editor you can create your own moves and attacks: Do you want a particularly clever lunge or a devastating slashing combo? This is possible in Gladio Mori. Every move, every shot and every parry is physics-based. This means that the power and direction of your attacks directly depend on how you control your character and how you created your moves beforehand.

This means that hits also have real effects on the opponents:A targeted blow to the arm can knock the weapon out of the hand, while injuries to the legs limit the ability to move. You can also let your opponents bleed out through deep cuts or hit vital organs - that sounds martial, but it doesn't look half as wild in action, as the figures are more reminiscent of crash test dummies.
