So you can get light crystals in Monster Hunter Wilds
You can get light crystals in Monster Hunter Wilds in three different ways, although only one of them really makes sense if you need larger quantities. Here are the details:
Collect / dismantle light crystals
The primary source of light crystals is the dismantling of ore funding spaces. However, you should know that the crystals are very rare and, accordingly, not too often as a possible loot when dismantling a funding site. On top of that, it depends on your hunter rank and the region whether light crystals can drop:
- Low rank (low rank): You can only find light crystals in funding places that are in theRuins from Wyveria occur.
- High rank (High Rank): You can crystals in all funding places inall hunting groundsfind.
Light crystals as a reward
In a few cases, your light crystals also get as a reward - for example for the quest "The circle closes" (Chapter 3-3) - but that is more the exception than the rule. Monster, on the other hand, do not drop light crystals and fall out as a source.
Swap light crystals
If you go to the biscuits or you need only one or two light crystals as quickly as possible, you can optionally or additionally atKilama in the south of the Kunafa Windsang villageHave a look in the wind level.
At the exchange dealer you can exchange "fiery sand pepper" for "light crystal" one to one, but there is a trade limit of two units. You can find fiery sand pepper in area 8 of the wind level during the time.
Kilama is a good option if you quickly need a light crystal or have fiery sand pepper left, but you cannot avoid farming funding places if you need larger quantities to make weapons and armor.

So you can farm light crystals - the best routes
Since light crystals rarely drop, you would like to logically flap as many funding places as possible in a short time in order to maximize the yield. Routes are particularly required for this, which have many supporting places close to each other. Since it takes about 15 minutes for a mined supporting place to respawn again (as long as you are in the area), and you are usually much faster on the road, two methods are open to the effective farms:
Either you choose several effective routes and rattle them in turn. Or you can use the freaking function or leave and enter the area again by quick trip so that the funding places respawn. It probably doesn't have to be mentioned extra, but still: use your Saikrii and the quick trip for the quick transportation and to deal with height differences.
Below we have summarized which routes for the farms of light crystals in Monster Hunter Wilds are particularly recommended:
Windebene:- By far the most funding places are available in the wind level. The junction in front of area 17 is particularly recommended here, because here there are five spawn points for funding places in the smallest space.
- From the field camp in "Area 9: View Hill" you can collect another four occurrence in area 9 and the adjacent area 7.
- Near the field camp in "area 3: south" you will also find another four funding places and optionally you can also take the three spawn points in area 2 and the two occurrences in the northwest from the camp in "area 6: valley hiding".
- If you have the field camps in "area 4: mineral cave" and "area 14: mining cavity", you should also drop by here. There are only two funding places here, but they are in the immediate vicinity of the warehouse so that you can reach them quickly.
- One of the fastest routes ever is at "Area 8: Underground Lake". There are a total of five spawn points for funding places that are very close together.
- Optionally, you can then continue to area 13, where there are four other funding places.
- There are a total of five spawn points for funding places in areas 7 and 8 that are easy to reach. You can either ride north from the base camp from the base camp, but it goes faster if you have opened a field camp in "Area 7: Wachturm" or "area 19: upper wall".
- In the pool, “area 13: limestone cave” is interesting, because here there are four spawn points for funding places in direct closer to the field camp.
- You can also make areas 4 and 6, which are easy to reach from the base camp or field camp "area 4: dilapidated street". Here the funding places are a little further apart, but there are up to six funding places.
- In Wyveria, “area 8: rubble gap” is particularly interesting. Here you will find two funding places and can also take a third spawn point in area 7.
- There are also another three funding places in area 5, but here the path is a little further.
So you can improve the chance of light crystals
With the second highest rare level (level 5), light crystals in Monster Hunter Wilds are unfortunately quite rare, but you can at least improve your chances if your equipment creates geology ability. This includes, among other things, the chain set, decorations such as the geology jewel or the geology talisman. You absolutely need geology level 3, because only then do you have the chance to get an extra object when collecting on funding places.
In addition, you should cook the collector meal before a farm run, because you also have an additional chance of getting an extra item when collecting. To do this, place your portable grill, choose "Meal grilling" and "own meal". The first two ingredients don't matter, as a third ingredient you need the "truffle du conga" for "last cut".
