Nintendo has updated its website and removed a few passages that recently caused some confusion with regard to cloud plays.
There were passages to read that indicated that the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ofand Donkey Kong Bananza do not support cloudy scores.
Apparently only one mistake
That seemed a bit strange and for no apparent reason. In any case, the corresponding passages have now been removed.
On the product page of Tears of the Kingdom there is now a note that refers to the additional space on the Switch 2: "The memory data that is created in the second storage space in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition cannot be transferred to the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch.
This note can also be found on the product page of the Switch 2 Edition of.
The all -clear for fans
Also on the product page of the new Switch 2 Edition ofIf there is initially a corresponding note in relation to cloud scores, but there is currently nothing left to read there.
It seems that everything had been a big misunderstanding and incorrect notes were placed on various product pages.
So there should probably be no problems transferring your old scores to Switch 2. However, you can no longer send them back to the original switch. A transfer between Switch 2 consoles is obviously no problem.
If something new arises again, we let you know.
