Elon Musk and well-known streamer Asmongold clashed after allegations that Musk's high-level Path of Exile 2 account was boosted.
The infamous billionaireand well-known streamer Asmongold recently got into a public argument that turned into a much-discussed drama in the gaming community. The starting point was Musk's presentation of his high-level hardcore character in the action RPG "Path of Exile 2", which led to speculation that he had enlisted outside help to level the character.

For example, Musk has claimed that his weapon with a level of "only 62" is not particularly good for his level 97 character, even though the level only indicates the level at which it can be equipped. It has no bearing on the actual strength of the weapon. During his farm runs, he also left the most valuable items on the ground and didn't have a loot filter on. Something a player with countless hours in hardcore mode would never do. These are just a few examples of the many errors from the stream.
Musk is extremely sensitive to his critics
Asmongold clearly expressed his criticism in a live stream and questioned whether Musk actually had the skills and, above all, the time necessary to achieve such impressive progress himself. Musk responded to these allegations on the platform, which led to an escalation. In response, Musk unfollowed Asmongold on X and removed its blue verification tick. Musk also published private messages between himself and Asmongold, thereby breaking his own platform's terms of service.
