Stand:
PSN Down - and the Playstation Portal? Unfortunately useless! Nothing works without a connection. You can find out why the device does not work and what you can do here.
not only paralyzes online games-also thatThis makes portal completely unusable. Anyone who has hoped to be able to play single player games via the remote player will be disappointed: the device starts, but as soon as you unlock the home screen, the error message appears: “Something has gone wrong. Try it again later. "
Why doesn't PlayStation portal work?
The problem is due to the necessary registration with the PlayStation Network. Usually PlayStation portal connects with yourAbout Remote Play - but because the PSN is not running stable, the registration fails. Without a PSN connection, the device remains an expensive letter complaint.
Is there a solution? In short: no. Playstation portal cannot be used without a functioning PSN-not even for single player games that have already been installed. So if you had hoped to use the device as a replacement for a console, look at the tube. The current failure reminds many of the worst PSN blackout in history:-and the community suffered a collective gaming trauma at the time.
What remains now?
While PlayStation Portal is currently useless, you can still use your PS5 or PS4 offline - if you use them directly on the TV. But there are also pitfalls: trophy collectors should be careful, because progress cannot currently be reliably synchronized.
Until Sony stabilizes the PSN again, PlayStation portal remains completely unusable. So if you want to play, you should rather switch directly to your console -. Hopefully Sony will soon bring an update so that Remote Play works again. Until then, it means: put PS portal aside and hope that the PSN will not stay down again for weeks.
