Have you already made a look at April 13, 2025 in the calendar? Then the highly expected start of the second season of- at least in the USA. In Germany we expect a promptly charisma, probably on April 14, 2025.
In addition to the film adaptation ofAgain, you can expect completely new scenes that have not yet existed in the video games. And the Joel actor is particularly looking forward to one of them.
Formerly painted scene occurs in the second Tlou season
Attention, spoiler risk! The upcoming sections are about a scene that will probably occur in the second season of The Last of Us. If you want to be surprised, important information will be anticipated.
In an interview withVarietyreveals the series showrunner, Craig Mazin, which scene it is about. It is said to be about Joel, who visits a psychotherapist in the quarantine zone (i.e. before the start of his trip with Ellie). This should be a way for the audience to learn more about the character and its motives.
Or as Mazin says:
"Therapy is a fantastic mirror to say not only 'what do you really think?', But also what people refuse to speak about."
Pedro Pascal liked the painted scene particularly well
The scene was originally supposed to occur in the first season of The Last of Us, but was deleted again before the shooting began. Much to the suffering of Joel's actor, Pedro Pascal. Mazin remembers Pascal's statements, according to which the scene is "half the reason, why he was involved in the series".
Why, Pascal Variety reveals directly via email:
"I found it a wonderful way to get to know the character, together with the walls that protect his trauma and losses."
If the statements of Craig Mazin and Pedro Pascal have now made you desire for the formerly painted scene, there is good news:In season 2, the review with Joel and the therapist should now occur. According to Mazin, this was planned from the start.
While we look forward to the additional series content, this is once again a confirmation that the second season will not retire the entire scope of the second video game. Although The Last of Us Part 2 is longer than the first part, the second season of the series will only contain seven instead of nine episodes.
As always, we are looking forward to the opinion of the GamePro community:Do you want additional content away from the video games or should the creators of the series prefer to stay with the template?
