ConcernedApe offers its own tips for mastering Journey of the Prairie King
In fact, the game is not that easy to win. Especially not if you want to do it without dying. If ConcernedApe has now inspired you to go on an achievement hunt yourself, he shares some tips in the comments under his post that can help you with Journey of the Prairie King:
Don't use items that defeat all enemies on the screen. Then they won't give you any money that you absolutely need. ConcernedApe then advises that you use the money to buy the best item you can afford. You should prefer ammunition to your weapon. Shoes are the lowest priority in this case.
Lastly, ConcernedApe recommends that it's best to save a machine gun upgrade for the fight against Fector so you can defeat him before he even gets to you.
