PS5 show case: Sony has already announced the next State of Play and it is about a single AAA game

The next State of Play is already on the move.

As is well known, the State of Play is in front of the State of Play. Sony has just held his first big PS5 show case of the year and also shared a somewhat surprising info: namely details about the next State of Play.

We don't know the exact date yet, but we already know which game will be in focus.

Borderlands 4 gets its own showcase

Yesterday's State of Play had tons of information about upcoming games. Also there was, to which there were numerous game scenes to see again.

Here you can take another look at the new trailer:

Immediately after the trailer, there was an interesting info: Randy Varnell and Randy Pitchford (each Chief Creative Officer and founder of Gearbox) have announced a new state of play.

It will be completely about Borderlands 4.We do not need to expect other titles from the showcase. The two randys also revealed a little more about what exactly we will see.

The combat system, the treasury hunters, the skill system, as well as exploration, should be the focus of the Borderlands-exclusive State of Play. The duo also promises typical of the crazy shooter series:"You will see more weapons than you can count."

We summarize what was announced at the last State of Play:

When will the next State of Play take place?

Unfortunately, the Gearbox leads have not yet revealed a precise date. TheState of Play, however, is supposed to be this springtake place. So we can probably expect an event in April or May. Of course we keep you up to date as soon as Sony announces more precise.

During the February State of Play, the released date of Borderlands 4 was also announced. The co-op shooter series goes on23. September 2025further.

Despite the familiar CEL Shading look, a lot should change in the new offshoot. So we no longer travel the galaxy as in the third part, but are only on a planet with an open world again.

In addition, we get a new villain, more freedom of movement for our treasury hunters and, according to narrative director Sam Winkler, less "toilet humor".

Are you looking forward to a State of Play for Borderlands 4 or don't you care?
