Where does this information come from?Sony usually releases the new essential games on the first Tuesday of the month. The announcement of the new titles will take place on the previous Wednesday.
This time, January 1st, 2025 is the date for the announcement and January 7th, 2025 for the activation. 5:30 p.m. is Sony's traditional time for unveiling new games for the PlayStation Plus service.
