Pokémon TCG Pocket: This unexpected promo card is the secret star of the Venusaur event and belongs in (almost) every deck

The new drop event has an unexpectedly powerful card in store.

Are opposing Pikachu-Ex or Mewtwo-Ex decks getting on your last nerve in Pokémon TCG Pocket? Then try singing. So don't get me wrong, please don't start singing a song now. We mean the infamous Jigglypuff “attack”!

As part of the current Venusaur drop event, you will receive a Jigglypuff promo card that is unexpectedly powerful.

Where do I get the Jigglypuff promo card?As part of the Bisaflor Drop event. Here you have to fight against Venusaur decks at different difficulty levels and can receive a pack with a promo card as a random reward.

Period:The event has been running since November 29th at 7:00 a.m. and runs until December 13th at 6:59 a.m. After the event ends, it will no longer be possible to get promo Jigglypuff.

What's special about Promo Jigglypuff?As already mentioned above, the little pink ball has the attack "Singing", which allows it to put opposing Pokémon to sleep like in the anime. The "Sleep" state can be crucial in card battles because your opponent can no longer attack as soon as they are asleep.

In the next round, your opponent or the AI ​​has to flip a coin. This decides whether the sleeping monster wakes up or continues to rattle off. In the best case scenario, you can survive several rounds without a counterattack.

Promo version better than the standard card:The “Unbeatable Genes” expansion also includes a standard Jigglypuff card. In contrast to the promo version, it does not have "singing" ability, but instead only the "slap" attack, which deducts 30 CP from enemy Pokémon.
