Certain Pokémon cards in TCG Pocket feature locations from the Game Boy RPGs and now it's all starting to fall from our eyes

The two high-rise buildings in the background can be located in the Kanto region of Pokémon Red and Blue.

attracts with collecting cards and exciting duels. The urge to collect is not only encouraged by the strength and rarity of the cards, but also by the great artwork. You can even enjoy them animated with immersion cards. But players on Reddit are now showing that other designs are also worth a closer look.

Fans discover places from the Kanto region on the maps

Redditor asch_win, among others, shows a watchful eye and discovered the city of Prismania City from the Kanto region in the artwork of the Habitak map in the background.

Prismania City is not only home to the plant arena leader Erika, but also Team Rocket's gambling hall and the shopping center that can be seen in the picture. The Habitak in the artwork is probably on Route 16, which is also where it can be found in the games.

Inspired by this post, user jteede came forward with his own findings. These affect the Pokémon cards Digda, Alpollo, Dodu and Rattfratz.

This is how jteede locates the full-art map of Digda in front of the Digda Cave, which in the first editions serves as a connecting tunnel between Orania City and Marmoria City. The ghost Pokémon Alpollo, on the other hand, is located in Lavandia, directly between the Pokémon Center and the terrifying Pokémon Tower.

The artwork of the Dodu map does not show any striking buildings in the background, but the fence and the red street lamps are reminiscent of the bike path on Route 17. The artist also suggests a certain pace in the drawing, which is why we can easily imagine it that the flying Pokémon just races along the track.

Finally, jteede suspects that the Rattfratz map could show the starting village of Alabastia, or more precisely the backs of the only two houses standing there - at least from the first tufts of tall grass that separates the small village from the first route of the game.

The examples that we have shared with you from the community are not even comprehensive. In the comments of a Reddit thread we can discover one of the most famous artworks of the maps that have been published so far, which also points to a well-known location.

Redditor HankyPankyKong shares the full-art version of Snorlax lounging on the walkways of Route 12. You could already use the card as part of a card combination with other cards likeMyraplaandBluzukknow. The other Pokémon's cards show the same scene, just from a different perspective, meaning we only ever see part of Snorlax.

For a trading card game, it makes sense to include various allusions to the games in the artwork - especially if the template has been around for so many years and offers such a diverse world.

As always, we are curious to hear the opinion of the GamePro community:Do you like to take a closer look at the cards in TCG Pocket and have you noticed one or two details yourself?
