The current emblem event in Pokémon TCG Pocket is so difficult that players are willingly giving up to help you

In the current Pokémon TCG Pocket emblem event you have to prove your skills - or get lucky.

Recently is the second emblem event ofstarted. You have a total of time from December 9th to December 16th, 2024 to earn an additional emblem for your profile.

Unlike the first event, you don't just have to collect a certain number of victories. In addition, you have to achieve your victories in sequence and without interruption, which makes the event much more difficult. That's why the community is stepping in.

While there are probably still enough players trying to achieve the five wins in a row for the gold emblem, some lucky ones have already mastered the event after the first day.

This leads to some of these lucky souls continuing to take part in the event - but only to give up and help other players get the gold emblem too.

I've actually met a player myself who gave up a match straight away and helped me to four wins in a row for the first time. Unfortunately, the fifth card duel after that went anything but in my favor and I'm back to stacking up wins to hopefully unlock the Gold Emblem before the end of the week.

So while I hopefully throw heads with my Lavados-ex enough times, with every failure I support my opponents like the people who immediately give up and feel a bit like Redditor kabigon2k who shares the following meme:

The emblem event divides opinion

What the players who give up immediately mean well bothers other members of the same community. At the same time, Reddit threads arise in which users like Renriak share their dissatisfaction:

What seems elitist in the meme is actually an expression of frustration that some community members insist that giving up is the right thing to do to help other players.

One side doesn't see the fun in the event because too much of the card duels depends on pure luck, so that five wins in a row can become an enormous challenge due to bad luck. The other side doesn't understand why people don't just play the game without thinking of ways to get around the actual gameplay.

We can't tell you which side or whether one side is right. When different people come together, differences of opinion arise, as Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest emblem event proves once again.

At this point we are curious to hear the opinion of the GamePro community:How do you like the current emblem event?
