It looks like a tradition that nobody needs: complaints about poor graphics of the Pokémon games. Alreadystill ensures disillusionment on this front and the announcement ofcontinues this trend.

In a YouTube video, two former leaders from Nintendo are now expressing their thoughts on the look of the youngest serial branch, which is to be released for the Nintendo Switch at some point at the end of 2025.

GamePro editor Chris also has a response to the first trailers.

"What we see, we get"

On their common YouTube channel"Kit & Krysta" discuss Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang their impressions of the new Pokémon title. Until a few years ago, Kit was a moderator of "Nintendo Minute" and Krysta worked for a long time as a senior marketing employee for Nintendo-America.

In their judgment, they agree that the new title looks "not great".Krysta Yang tries to put the look into perspective a bit by indicating the possibility of a certain polishing by the end of 2025. But she also admits the little chance for this when her co-host indicates Karmesin & Purpur, which is still suffering from technical and graphic weaknesses.

And Kit and Krysta also briefly play through this scenario, but then quickly wave off. They appreciate such thoughts more "than wishful thinking". It would "probably not be high on the studio's list of priorities".

Rather, the former marketing boss puts her confidence in a restart with the next generation of console from Nintendo. With a gear "Back to the drawing board", a new engine could perhaps offer the chance to create detailed game worlds.
