There is new information about the Switch 2 Joycons.

Just yesterday, the first sharp images appeared that are supposed to show the Joycons of the Nintendo Switch 2 and allegedly come from a factory in China. If the leak is true, then the controllers of the new Nintendo hardware are not only larger than the Joycons of the first Switch, but also come with a few cool new features.

What's new?On social media, Nintendo enthusiasts have now taken the trouble to analyze the buttons on the side of the alleged Switch 2 joycons in more detail and now think they have discovered an optical sensor there that is similar to a PC mouse.

Being able to convert a Switch 2 Joycon controller into a mouse as quickly and easily as with the Lenovo Legion would certainly be a game changer for many players who rely on inputs that are as accurate as possible, especially for shooters and strategy games.

But as already mentioned: the feature has not been officially confirmed. And even if it were really true, we still have to wait and see how the Joycon mouse proves itself in terms of accuracy in practice.

When will the Nintendo Switch 2 be revealed?
