Thathas problems in early access is currently no secret. The level of difficulty scares a lot of players, loot is rather in short supply and at the moment many builds do not work properly.
With the new Patch Dawn of the Hunt, players hoped for a better gameplay.Instead, even act 1 was hardly possible for some builds.
Dawn of the Hunt
The new patch sounded really good on paper. With the hunter, a new class gets into Path of Exile 2, which tracts her enemies with spears. In addition, there are five new subclasses, a new weapon class, 100 unique items and much more.
All information about the patch can be found here:
But many other changes were less well received by the players. Monster became even stronger and many popular skills were generated. So Minion-Builds were no longer playable.
This resulted in Path of Exile 2 on Steam at short notice in the reviews on “mostly negative”.A comment in the reviews summarizes the mood of the community well:
Everything feels like a single cramp. Every boss fight takes a lot longer than it should. Most skills do hardly or no harm. I understand that you said you want to slow down the gameplay, but I don't think I can withstand it in this league for more than a week.
At the moment it just feels terrible -fallsIf you get the game up and running and it remains stable. And that's a huge onefalls.
Now GGG is rowing back. But is that enough?
Fast faster, but is that enough?
In particular, the white monsters, i.e. standard mobs that have no special skills, have already been slowed down again. After the patch, they struck so quickly that defensive skills had no chance. In addition, two bosses generated and minions should remain dead for less long.
But the main criticism of POE2 remains: loot.A high level of difficulty is completely ok as long as players are also rewarded. But here it hooks tremendously. You can only get good gear by trading with others.
The combo gameplay is also criticized, which works on Bossen, but is more in the way in the fight against waves of opponents than it helps.
What do you think of the update?
