One Piece fans have to expect breaks of several weeks in the popular Shonen manga this month and again at the beginning of next year. According to two very well-known and trusted leakers in the One Piece community, there will be several irregularities with the manga until mid-January.

One Piece manga is taking several breaks until mid-January
One Piece fan, leaker and X user@pewpiecehas already revealed that after Chapter 1133, which will appear on December 8, 2024, Oda will first take a personal break. Since we are approaching the holidays in December and January, there will probably be some interruptions at the publishing house of the One Piece manga Shonen Jump, like every year.

How reliable is this information?Pewpiece and NewWorldArtur have always been reliable sources and have correctly predicted and leaked the manga breaks in the past. However, it is still possible that there can still be leaks about the chapters despite the holidays.
So a preview of the new chapters of One Piece could appear before the dates mentioned above, as only the magazine is taking a break, but Eiichiro Oda may even be preparing. However, there is a chance that nothing will happen on those days and that the mangaka will take these holidays as a well-deserved break.
What could this mean for the weekly rhythm of the One Piece manga in 2025?
If fans are correct, the One Piece manga appears to only receive a new chapter every two weeks until mid-January.
With the start of the new year, Shonen Jump could change the weekly rhythm of the One Piece manga to a bi-weekly publication rhythm due to the many breaks. After all, Eiichiro Oda had many unplanned breaks this year for health reasons.
