Find and share hunter ID
If you want to go hunting with friends, the best thing to do is to exchange the IDs of your hunters. This is imperative if you play on different platforms. On the same platform you can also invite friends friends via the platform system for playing, but the friend list in the game makes a lot easier.
You can find your hunter ID directly on the character selection screen under the name. Alternatively, you will find them in your hunter profile in the game. To add a person of your friend list, open the menu with the option button in the game and go to the communication tab:
- Communication> Invite a friend> Search for hunter ID> Send a friend request
Hunting groups - this is how you only play with friends
If you want to play regularly with friends, we recommend theThe hunting group. To do this, you have to go first in the base camp in the wind levelCongratulateGo, sit next to the large research tent.
In the base camp in the wind level you will find Felicita next to the research tent, which is close to access to the training area.
Here you create a new hunting group - remember to "need" the confirmation of accession so that no strangers can join. Once the group is created, you choose:
- Manage hunting groups> Select the hunting group> Invite in hunting group> Select person from hunting friendship
The invited people can then be overOptions> Communication> Invitation announcementsaccept the invitation. From now on all group members can be overLobby search> group lobby searchAlways join a joint lobby.
Connection groups and environmental binding groups - this is how joint quests and expeditions go
Now you are in a lobby together, but you do not automatically go hunting together. For that you also have to in oneLiaison groupbe that consists of a maximum of four people. For this you click the option button again and then choose:
- Communication> Liaison group> Invite in a connecting group
The invited persons also take on invitation notices here. If a person posts a hunt, you join in directly. At Hunts with cutscenes you have to go alone, but the other people can go out as soon as the cutscene is over.
If you want to go on an expedition together and explore the world, you also need theConvention group. With this you can hunt monsters together without a quest in the world or sit together around the campfire. The group creates it similar to the normal connection group:
Communication> Liaison group> to environmental invite
Use language chat in the group
If you want to talk to each other in the game, you use the language chat. In the detailed options, you first activate the language chat here in the Audio tab and then selectLanguage chat: Change of cars> Prefer liaison membersout of. As soon as you are in a connection group, you can talk to each other.

Finally, you just want to jump into the game spontaneously with friends, the fastest way to do the lobbys search. If the other person is in a public lobby, you proceed as follows if there is still room in the lobby:
