For which platforms will GTA 6 be released in 2025?
It's been a year since Rockstar revealed the next part of the GTA series with an action-packed debut trailer. When the announcement was made, it was explicitly stated that GTA 6(in autumn) 2025 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/Sshould appear. And nothing has changed to this day.
A PC release of GTA 6 is still not ruled out.

How likely is a PC version of GTA 6?
At this point we have to emphasize again that Rockstar has not yet officially confirmed a PC version of the open world game.
But PC gamers can still hope, because both GTA 4 and GTA 5, which were initially only released for consoles, ended up on the PC some time later.

Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of publisher Take-Two, even commented on the PC version of GTA 6 as early as June 2024 (viaGameStar) – even if only very vaguely:
Rockstar is thinking about platforms they are already familiar with and will make further announcements when the time is right.I believe it is the right strategy for our company to be where the consumers are. And what we've done in the past is, over time, be wherever consumers are - on any platform that makes sense.
Precisely because GTA 4 and 5 were not only released on consoles, but also subsequently for the PC, and Take-Two is apparently still sticking to this publishing strategy, a PC version of GTA 6 is very likely.
The big question is when it might appear.And here we can only speculate. For better or worse, PC gamers have to reckon with the fact that they won't be able to play straight away at the release or will have to switch to the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S version.
Are there already rumors about a PC version of GTA 6?
A current rumor or a hint from the LinkedIn profile of Rockstar developer Ryan Woods gives PC gamers additional hope.
In his profile, Woods says, among other things, that he is working on Rockstar's in-house RAGE engine to optimize it not only for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but also for the PC. You can read more about it here:
