Fortnite Ballistic will soon be joined by another game whose gameplay is reminiscent of the tactical shooteris leaned against. We summarize everything you need to know here and accompany the early access release in the live ticker.

An official time has not yet been announced. Based on previous updates and the release of new quests and modes, Fortnite will most likely release the game again at 3:00 p.m.
Is there a server down?No, you don't have to be prepared for the servers to go offline on the same day. The files for the new game mode should come into play beforehand with the new update to version 33.10, for which the servers have already been taken offline for a short time:
This is how Fortnite Ballistic plays
Fortnite Ballistic is a tactical, turn-based 5v5 mode played in a first-person perspective. There is no building here and pickaxes, instruments or vehicles are not supported - your outfits, sprays and emotes are.
You compete in two teams:Attackers and defenders. The attacking team attempts to place the "Rift Point Device" bomb in one of two locations on the map. The defending team must prevent them from doing so.
There are no respawns.The round ends either when the bomb explodes or one team is completely eliminated. After six rounds the sides switch, and in the end the team that wins seven rounds wins.
You also collect credits while playing, for example for eliminations or planting the bomb. You can use this to buy new weapons and items. If you survive the round, you take the equipment you have collected with you - otherwise you start from scratch.
This is what Fortnite Ballistic Early Access offers
At the start there is only a single map in Fortnite Ballistic, later there will be major updates with new maps, weapons and functions.

How long will Fortnite Ballistic stay in Early Access?Fortnite hasn't revealed that yet. However, feedback from players should be collected diligently in Early Access in order to improve the mode. So we can expect some major updates here.
