Dragon Ball DaimaWith the release of the last episode on February 28, 2025, the story of Son Goku and his friend completed in the demon realm. In its 20 episodes, the series brought some new changes in the existing world of Dragon Ball and even added story content from Dragon Ball Z and tell us who is the actual creator of Boo.
Spoilerwarnung!In the following sections, a handful of highlights and turning points by Dragon Ball Daima are treated. If you haven't seen the series yet, these important moments will be anticipated.
There were big moments that fans knocked out of their socks. These include Vegetas Super Saiyajin 3-form or Son Gokus Transformation in the four times Super-Saiyajin. But there is also a significant and essential element of Dragon Ball that was not used until the end of Daima:The merger!
The special beetles in the demon -rich
Since the Majin Boo-Arc in Dragon Ball Z has been an integral part of Dragon Ball history. After all, the bodies of two people can merge with a merger, which enormously increases their combat strength in a new form. This is possible either through the fusion dance or with the help of the Potara earrings.
Since mergers are among the most important elements of Dragon Ball, fans were of course very impressed to see a new fusion type in Daima: the merger beetles.
The merger beetles were already presented in the fourth episode of Dragon Ball Daima, in which Son Goku and Co visit a shop to increase their supplies for the trip. The Saiyajin becomes aware of several beetles:
- Resuscitation beetle:Restore the endurance of the fighter, exactly (or similar) as with a Senzu bean.
- Achichi beetle:Heals burns.
- Zutsu-Käfer:Heals a headache.
- Fusion beetle:Can merge up to three people if everyone consumes part of the beetle.
Son Goku asks Glorio to buy him some resuscitation and merger beetles. So the Saiyajin has access to the special crawling cups since the fourth episode and was able to use them at any time.
Although he used the resuscitation beetle himself in the course of the complete series and also passed on one to Vegeta, the merger beetles were never used.
There was never a merger
Since the introduction of the new type of fusion, fans have been waiting for the fact that there is finally a merger in the troops in the Dragon Ball Daima. While the final fight against King Gomah with Son Goku's transformation to the Super Saiyajin 4 has reached an incredible highlight, fans wanted to see the use of the beetle as a crowning glory.
Unfortunately, this should never happen, because Son Goku fell out of his pockets in Episode 17 and he lost it. The beetles did not reappear until the end of Dragon Ball Daima, and the final fight took place without a merger.
So far, the non-use of the new fusion type is a big puzzle for the community. After all, both the introduction of the beetles and the moment they fell out of Son Goku's bag were particularly highlighted.
We may never find out what a merger would look out of the beetles, since Daima may be the last story of Akira Toriyama. Unless there is a sequel to Daima, Dragon Ball Super picks up the beetles or otherwise come back in any form.
