InWe choose to bring warriors, villains or magicians into battle and, in addition to our appearance, we also choose a race for our hero. Another significant decision is the choice of our background, or rather our faction.
Bioware recently showed three different charts showing which class, race and background the community voted for most often. But we have also repeatedly asked you about these exact decisions at various points.
Even though the results are very similar, one background in the GamePro community has become even more distinct - and perhaps for a very simple reason.
The Gray Wardens conquer Thedas for the second time
In the official oneBioware evaluationIt becomes clear: The Dragon Age community is particularly fond of two factions, with the Gray Wardens and the Shadow Dragons each accounting for 24%, accounting for almost half of all selected character backgrounds.
The Crows of Antiva (16%) and the Veil Jumpers (15%) follow, ahead of the Masters of Fate (11%) and the bottom of the Mourning Watch (10%).
Things are broadly very similar in the GamePro community, with two differences. In your case, the Mourning Watch is just ahead of the Masters of Fate and the Shadow Dragons can only get 19% of all votes in second place.
On the other hand, the Gray Guardians achieved 34% and thus secured first place quite clearly. This could be because the faction is already known from the old games and we are inhave ever played a Gray Warden or a Gray Warden.
Since quite a few people still consider the first part of the series to be the best and have strong feelings for Origins, we are not at all surprised by the numerous decisions made for the fighters against the dark spawn.
When it comes to the popular vote, the results are much closer together. Here is the overview from Bioware with the GamePro results in brackets behind it:
- Mensch 43% (46%)
- Elf 40% (35%)
- Qunari 11% (8%)
- Dwarf 6% (11%)
There are once again clear differences in the choice of class, with 62% of the GamePro community relying on magic. At least 21% of you chose the warrior, while only 17% chose a villain.
In the group of all players, the magician has also taken the throne with 40%, but fighters and villains share second place with 30% each.
