WithBioWare is finally continuing its fantasy series after a 10-year break. And as fans are used to from previous installments, the RPG will be pretty big this time too. Spoiler alert!Although we won't reveal any details about the story here, the names of the chapters can at least provide rough clues to the plot. In our opinion, possible spoilers are limited, but read on with caution if you don't want to know anything about the story yet.

Overall, the story of the game is divided into:three actson:
- Signs and omens
- The price of the past
- The Wrath of the Ages
Additionally, the story is divided into 14 chapters, each ending with a small cutscene and narration by Varric. There is also a trophy or achievement for each chapter:
- Part 1: Task in Minrathous
- Part 2: In Bruchtann
- Part 3: Awakening
- Part 4: Tevinter at Night

- Part 6: Old blood and even older oaths

How long are the chapters?
Of course, this depends on your playstyle on the one hand and on how many of the side tasks you complete on the other. On average, you can allow around three to five hours per chapter.
How many main missions are there in Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
Overall the game offers25 main missions, which you can complete. However, it's quite possible that you'll reach the end without seeing all of them. This is because some of the missions are not mandatory or are marked as optional quests. They are only added to the main missions in the quest log when they are completed.
