However, this contradicts Fergussen of an earlier statement that he had made himself: in 2023 it was still said thatwould. So that seems to have changed now. We can only guess where this shift of the release plan comes from.
Already at the release of Diablo 4 it was known that the game would be preserved at least two extensions. The team had already worked on the first DLC at the time, the second was already being planned in 2023.
