InLet's slaughter our way through hordes of monsters all day long, fight evil and collect experience points to become stronger. But probably even more important is the coveted Bling Bling, which ends up on the ground after every battle.
The mystical items are particularly sought after, as they are not only super strong, but also quite rare. Once we get hold of one of these, however, we should keep a pretty close eye on it, as Reddit user Odd_Deleay_3231 painfully discovered.
Avoid this painful mistake when selling
Diablo players know this: We go out, kill masses of monsters and then return to the city to look through our loot and either sell or dismantle unnecessary equipment.
And that's exactly where we should definitely be careful about what we pass on to the NPC of our choice. On Reddit, Odd_Delay_3231 is sharing a clip that shows how important this is.
But first see for yourself:

What exactly is happening here?Odd_Delay_3231 runs to the dealer and simply sells an incredibly rare helmet, the 'Heir of Perdition', or in German the 'Heir of Damnation'. He then pauses before selling off all the previously marked items by pressing a button.
When he realizes what he's done a few moments later, it's already too late - the item is gone forever because the slots in the buyback option are simply occupied by the 'junk items'. With an item like this it's just incredibly bitter.
As already mentioned, the game offers a buyback option, but only for a few items. If we sell too much at once, we can either be lucky or unlucky.
To protect items, we can mark them as 'Favorite'. In this case, the sale is not possible without detours and the corresponding command is grayed out. However, we can only mark items as 'favorites' if we have created them.
When in doubt, one thing above all helps us: attention. If that doesn't work, as in the case of Odd_Delay_3231, we just have to start again. In Diablo, 'After the monster slap is before the monster slap!'
