Skill and playing style in detail
With this build you are prepared for most situations and group compositions. In conversations you shine with your charisma skills and when exploring, thanks to a high level of skill and practice in dexterity, you can also take on many villain skills such as picking locks and disarming traps.
In combat, you should stay at a distance, as you can heal companions and harm enemies from here.
This spell is your strongest weapon
Your bread and butter is the magic trickBad spot. The damage is ridiculously low, but its additional effect surpasses all other magic tricks: If you hit an opponent and they fail their saving throw, they will be at a disadvantage on their next attack roll - your fellow warriors will thank you.
Also pay attention to the health of your troops and heal with Healing Word if necessary - if you only used one magic trick like Evil Spot in the round, you can even cast Healing Word as a bonus action afterwards.
If opponents come too close to you, you keep them at bay with thunderstorms. Later you can exchange the spell with Shatter. This will be your first area attack with a longer range and will serve you well up to level 6. Then it will probably often be replaced by Fireball, which you can imagine as an extremely strong area-of-effect spell via your specializationSchool of Knowledgeshould get. This gives you the extremely useful magical secrets with which you can learn powerful spells from other classes.
Including the Oathbreaker Paladin, which includes our colleagues fromMeinMMO already has an extensive build guidehave created.
There are a lot of good options here, but we recommend Haste as a second spell. It can turn the tide, especially in boss fights, if you cast it on your strongest fighter character right from the start.
From here you should have a good feeling for what's next for your bard or bard.
