To find out your total expenses, all you have to do is use the linked oneSteam support pageCall up, log in with your account details and find out under “TotalSpend” how much money you have spent on games, DLCs and hardware in your Steam career.

Over 20,000 euros: This is what other players report
Incidentally, this was the trigger for the articleReddit-Threadby user No-System4447, under which numerous players have been reporting their total spending for days.
The thread creator's sum is an impressive 21,400 euros, which he spent fora total of 11,019 gamesissued and, according to our own information, around 400 of them played.

Although sums of up to 5,000 euros are often mentioned in the comments, there are also some users who have spent even more than the thread creator.
Among others, Bossman1086, who comes to the sum of 23,067 euros in 20 years, and Pwinne, who shows with a screenshot that he has already paid 46,604 euros.
The upper large totals are certainly exceptions, but we can well imagine that some people have spent far more over the years than he or she might think.
