Nostalgics among you can look forward to the renewed comeback of a classic of the game history. Atari brings Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 back to current Playstation and Xbox consoles.
From March 20, 2025, the amusement park simulation of earlier days will also be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Previously, the game was already available for PC and Mac (Epic Games Store, Steam, Gog.com) and for the Nintendo Switch.
The title was published for the first time in 2004, when Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 in the meantime also became the best-selling PC game on Amazon.com. Overall, it was almost enough for the top 10 in the USA.
This part of the series brought significant innovations to the predecessors of its time. A new 3D view replaced the prevailing isometric view and there were several new features, including the CoasterCam, thanks to which you could take your roller coasters.
