will soon finally emerge from the shadows and will particularly delight Japan and stealth fans. This time, however, you have the choice of which character you want to use against your enemies and that has a massive impact on the gameplay options and your approach. Assassin's Creed Shadows has a tongue-in-cheek Naruto Easter egg that will please fans
That's what it's about:After Assassin's Creed Shadows was actually supposed to be released in the fall and was postponed, it won't be too long until the new open world title from Ubisoft appears.
Here's it againlatest trailer for AC Shadows:
Homage to Naruto in the game:Like Creative Director Jonathan Dumont in an interview withEntertainment Weeklyreveals, there is not only the opportunity to dash around particularly nimbly and quickly as Naoe, but also a little nod to the manga and anime Naruto. You can sprint with your arms stretched back and leaning forward.
"We have a way of walking on the roofs of buildings that comes with a little tongue in cheek. [...]
"Naoe is the fastest assassin we've ever made. She runs super fast, she has a lot of gadgets that help her stay unnoticed so she doesn't have to fight so often. We want to satisfy the players who are worried about this Ninja Assassin game."
The developer doesn't use the term Naruto Run himself, but fans of the anime should still have an image in their head. This special "ninja running style" is of course not only found in Naruto, but it has gained worldwide fame through the series.
More character backgrounds:The differences between Naoe and Yasuke aren't just limited to their abilities in the game itself. They also come from very different backgrounds. While Yasuke comes from a noble household, the developers also wanted to show the opposite of that with Naoe, namely hard-working farmers from rural areas.
Do you want more AC? It's here:
Special delicacy with humor:One of the absolute hallmarks of Assassin's Creed creates very different results for the two different characters. While the petite Naoe has no problems with the Leap of Faith jump into haystacks and the like, Yasuke's whole thing looks a lot less elegant. It just crashes down and is said to hurt his butt.
How do the differences and the Naruto homage sound to you? What are you most looking forward to in AC Shadows?
